Isaac Starts School
Here is a few pics of Isaac on his first day of school ever! He loves it by the way. It was so fun this particular day, but sad at the same time. Poor Eli has just now quit crying for 30 minutes solid after Isaac leaves for school. And he finally got past having to have a backpack like his bubby. Its so precious.




California He We Come
At the end of September we hopped on a plane and flew across the country to see Barry's brother Brian and his wife Julie and their kids, Caleb and Caylyn. It was a LONG flight. If you've been following me for awhile, you know Eli hates to travel whether it be in a car, boat, plane or train. He held true to his hatred to travel and even made a few, well several new enemies along the way. No lie, he cried from the time we took off in Charlotte, slept for 30 minutes in the air, and then cried until we were off the plane in Los Angeles. Even worse, we had a horrible lady who stood up and said, "Would you please make him shut-up!". Can you believe that?! I thought Barry was going to jump over the seats and punch her. We had tried everything we knew and the child would just not go to sleep! Needless to say I dreaded the trip home, and he did do a bit better but it was still enough to make me not want to travel anywhere with him until Christmas. Anyways we had a blast there. The kids had fun playing and we had fun seeing family. Even more amazing, they took us to Yosemite National Forest. The place is amazing!!! It is something every person needs to experience at least once, other than I decided you could stay there for 6 months and probably still need more time to see everything.
